Antique Navajo rug, handwoven in the Southwest United States, during the second quarter of the 20th century.
This stunning rug features a graphic central design flanked by floating gray and red diamonds and "z" like shapes on a very rare black field. The whole is framed by a ivory Greek key border which contrasts perfectly and has the vibrancy of a Keith Haring work.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Flatwoven, with a dense handle.
