ZACH ZAMAN
Zach’s connection to rugs and antiques began in childhood, inspired by the great respect his father had for the pieces he collected and sold. From an early age, he was captivated by their beautiful hues and intricate patterns, and awed by the way they carried stories across generations. He often imagined the lives of the people who wove them and the homes where they once lived. What began as childhood fascination grew into a lifelong passion, leading Zach to spend over two decades working full-time in the field.

Over the past 20+ years, Zach has traveled both near and far, hunting not only for rare and unusual rugs and textiles but also for the histories, techniques, and cultural knowledge behind them. His love for sharing this world extends to collectors, decorators, set designers, and anyone who shares his curiosity.

In addition to an undergraduate degree from Boston University’s School of Management, Zach has completed programs in Fine & Decorative Art Appraisal at Pratt Institute and in Interior Design & Architectural Studies at Parsons School of Design. He is also the current President of the Hajji Baba Club, established in 1932 and recognized as the oldest rug collecting society in the Americas.
