This Serab was woven in the second quarter of the 20th century.
It features a rosette filled central medallion filled on an open chocolate ground and flanked by floral spray cornices in vibrant rose, sky blue, fern green and ivory. Nicely framed by a chocolate brown perimeter which strikes the perfect balance with the open field and further highlights the use of the uncommon tone.
In very good condition with some small areas of wear (as pictured)
