Antique Peking Rug - 3' x 5'9

This antique Peking rug was woven in the late 19th century.

It features some lovely indigo blues on an ivory field, with madder-peach colored flowers. It sports both floral and faunal motifs, with multiple birds surrounded by a band of flowers on a bed of blue.

A truly delightful rug, it is in quite good condition - some moderate wear and tear consistent with its substantial age (over 100 years old), but overall in good shape.
