This Khotan rug was woven in Northwest China, which is also known as East Turkestan, during the second quarter of the 20th century. 

This rug features three orb-like Ay-gul or "moon" medallions of atop a black ground. Four fret cornices work perfectly with the skeletal medallions  Framed by border of lovely border of alternating roses.

In Very Good condition. Low pile with a dense handle.
