Portuguese Needlepoint - 10'7 x 12'4

Stunning Portuguese needlework rug from the second quarter of the 20th century (1925-1950).

It features an ornate floral pattern of yellow, brown, and green on an indigo blue field. The central medallion makes its presence felt with lots of cheerful light yellow and a more stylized flower in the center. The scalloped borders alternate between ocean blue and that same light yellow.

In excellent condition with no signs of wear. A truly one of a kind piece.
