This silk kilim was handwoven in Syria during the 20th century.
It features a lovely directional motif reminiscent of a tree of life with rows of "S"s on top and bottom. Various interlocking blocks both emphasize and celebrate the interlocking tapestry technique utilized. A soft and delicate palette of faded blush, warm gold and muted celadon give it an ethereal almost dreamlike quality perfectly matching it's materially.
In very good condition with little to no wear.
