On the left is a man taking off his top hat, while on the right is a woman in a hoop skirt facing him. Four bird silhouettes and a few blossoms complete the scene. The soft blue background fills the rest of the scene and has lovely abrash throughout. A thin pink border (the same color as the flowers) delineates the blue border around the rug.
