It features a field of red and blue stepped polygons and small brown triangles in various on a bright ivory ground. The ivory field is framed by jagged zigzags around the perimeter and finished with thick bands of blue and red on the sides and ends respectively. May have been made as one side of a saddle bag. A small but impactful piece.

Antique Kuba Kilim - 1'11 x 2'1

Antique Veramin bagface featuring central hooked device on a navy ground filled with various animals and protection symbols. Framed by a wide main border of multicolored eight-pointed stars on an ivory ground which is flanked by two minor borders of multicolored ovals on a soft red ground. It is finished with a slit kilim top and dotted skirt end. Nicely embellished with a salt and pepper weft float on end.

Antique Veramin Trapping - 1’8 x 3’5

This Vintage Checker Gabbeh Rug features a field of checkered squares composed of a variety of variegated tones of undyed wool in shades of gray, beige, and dark and light brown. The squares are neatly yet imperfectly ordered slightly shifting in scale. Each square is clearly delineated in a dark brown outline and the whole composition is framed by a gray band. Both light and dark handspun wool warps were used which add visual interest to the fringes. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug.

Tibetan carved rug It features a four clawed dragon flying through the clouds. In red, orange and yellow scales with ivory, light and dark green accents that pop against an open navy ground. The claws and face are rendered in red and yellow static and details like the dragon's scales and mane have been hand-carved with a razor adding extra detail and interest

Antique Prayer Baluch rug composed of a directional prayer niche with a tree-of-life central motif that fills the camel mihrab. As the mihrab narrows boteh like shapes can be found at the top of the tree. The same motif can be found on the two smaller trees flanking the top of the mihrab. Navy, orange, purplish brown and ivory liven up the composition.

Feng shui The pictorial rug was handwoven in Mongolia during the early 20th century. It features a mirrored design of a stag under a tree with a crane and bat flying above. The stag represents well-being, while the crane symbolizes a long life and the bat prosperity. The color palette is minimal with ivory, dark and light blues. The whole is framed by a tightly rendered fret border.

Feng Shui Mongolian Rug - 2’1 x 4’

This Yei rug was woven by Navajo weavers during the second quarter of the 20th century in the Southwest United States. The design of this rug is derived from Navajo sand painting. It features six “Yei” or holy people on a black background. The Yei alternate between orange and white and each is wearing turqoise necklaces and holds sacred eagle feathers.

All of the components necessary to envision how the piece would appear in it's original glory. The wonderful and stunning tones have survived over 200 years and still feel electric. It features the characteristic yellows, purples and blues characteristic of central Anatolia not to mention a great red and highly desirable green! it's aesthetic impact. A great study piece with visual power.

It is woven in soumak weave and features a lattice of polychrome polygons filled with eight pointed stars. The color palette red, blue, yellows, brown and green with bright whites woven in cotton. The whole is framed by a border of diamond filled cartouches.
