This Coptic textile was woven in Egypt or the Levant in the 6th century AD. 

It features what appear to be two unrelated fragments with a similar palette and age that are displayed together. A nice study piece showcasing the variety of motifs and styles during the period.

This Coptic textile was woven in Egypt or the Levant in the 6th century AD. 

This colorful pieces features a fragment that is hard to decipher but includes various naturalistic shapes and maybe even a fish. It has evolved into very abstract rendering that can be read in many different ways.

This Coptic textile was woven in Egypt or the Levant in the 4th - 5th century AD. 

This large fragment has a highly intricate design rendered in the two classic tones associated with Coptic textiles, purplish brown and wheat. It features a central band of octagons primarily filled with lion-like figures except for one central octagon filled with two figures with extraterrestrial-like features. The central is flanked by two borders full of overlapping and intersecting anthropomorphic figures.

It features what appear to be two fragments. One with interlocking diamonds in blue, green, yellow and white and the other with a banded border with blocks of red and green on a yellow and soft peachy pink ground.

It features a roundel with various vegetal motifs on a rich red ground. It is framed by rounded borders including a main latchhooked border. With tones of green and yellow to go with the classic purplish brown and wheat colored linen classically found in these textiles.

This Coptic textile was woven in Egypt or the Levant in the 7th century AD. 

It features a two confronting birds beak to beak surrounded by remnants of a circle made of white dots on a dark blue/green ground. It is flanked by borders of intersecting blocks in blue, yellow and green. There is a suggestion of latchooked roundels on the remaining bottom section of the fragment.

Ningxia Rug circa 1800 composed of a central mandala flanked by four smaller medallions over an intricate diamond lattice repeat. With a classic Ningxia palette that includes two shades of blue, brown, ivory, mauve and a desirable imperial yellow ground. The main border design features floral motifs on a mauve ground.
